Best Used Bookstore in Albany area
Found in Glenmont, NY just south of Albany on Route 9w and Feura Bush Rd...cozy shop, great selection of discounted paperback and hardcover books. Thousands of novels, non-fiction, self help and kids books. They even have large print books and audios. Over 4,000 kids books too! Very helpful staff. Most consumer friendly used bookstore in the Capital District!
Known as "Tattered Pages Used Books" since change in ownership in June 2008, this great little bookshop is at the same location and has same phone number. It offers a warm, friendly and helpful staff and is a full service bookstore offering a great selection in all genres as well as the inventory on a database. All books are already reduced 25-60% off the original publisher's prices. Offering a free young children's story hour every Saturday at 10am, trade credit program that earns the customer a reduction of 30% off their future sales...Tattered Pages is opened Monday-Saturday 9-6. This bookstore promotes and assists, Blue Star Mothers of the Capital District, AnimaLovers rescue organization and several small local businesses.
